Vacation - Swimming with Manatee's
Been a while (sorry!). Here are some pics from our vacation to Florida in February. We went down for my Grandma's 90th birthday!
Bill and I went swimming with the Manatee's in Crystal River, Florida. It is just down the road from my Mom and Gram's place in Florida. It's an experience that you don't want to miss. We can't wait to go again! Hope you enjoy!

I would love to swim w/ the Manatee's. Also - I would love to be in warmer weather - ha!!
So, swim as in get in the water with them or some other way? You got some great underwater shots. - Margy
Shelley, you've got to go. Amazing experience. Margy, yes, we put on wetsuits and swam with them. They are HUGE but very friendly and curious. Related to elephants that have couse hair that sticks out about every 1/4".
Denise, We have wanted to go and see them for quite awhile. And after seeing your wonderful photos, I know we have to go real soon.

Thanks for the great photos you share. I was in Florida this winter and the poor manatee's had a really rough go of it with the cold weather. Unfortunately many where lost. It was a real rescue mission to catch and put them in facilities until the warm weather hit. You where fortunate to enjoy their good times.
